artec® supplies sports equipment
for the major project Sportpark Freiham Munich
The major project Sportpark Freiham Munich is a very large reference project for artec® Sportgeräte. In the context of the completely new built Munich district Freiham we were allowed to equip the sports facilities of the new district with our sports equipment. As you can easily imagine, this is not an everyday project, which has put a lot of strain on the capacities of artec® this year. And it is precisely for this reason that we are very happy to have delivered the Sportpark Freiham Munich project on time and within the planned timeframe. An achievement that we can look back on with a certain amount of pride!
The Sportpark Freiham Munich is embedded in the new development of the Munich district Freiham, which is located in the western part of Munich. A mixed residential and commercial area is being created on an area of approximately 350 hectares, which is primarily characterized by commercial uses in the southern part and has mainly residential developments in the northern part. In total, more than 11,000 new apartments are planned for more than 25,000 residents. The new Freiham district is one of the last large contiguous areas within Munich’s city limits and is about twelve kilometers from the city center. After completion, around 15,000 people are expected to find work here.
Sustainable urban development
with space for recreation and activity
In the context of the desired sustainable urban development, the new district of Munich Freiham is to satisfy not only economic aspects but also ecological and social requirements and offer sufficient space for recreation and activity. And this is exactly where the Sportpark Freiham Munich, which has just been supplied by artec®, comes into play. This is because the new Freiham Munich Sports Park has plenty of facilities for school and leisure sports as well as for top-level sport. Among other things, several sports halls, a swimming pool and various recreational sports facilities have been built, which are also equipped for disabled sports as an inclusion project.
The entire Sportpark Freiham Munich sees itself as an integrated educational and sports campus with different types of schools, where public facilities such as the library and canteen can be used jointly. The scope of supply of artec® Sportgeräte for this outstanding lighthouse project consisted of the following equipment, among others:

And by this we mean not only the products we supply, but also and above all the delivery logistics and assembly of the equipment on site handled by artec®. Here, all employees from the artec® team have delivered excellent work and have impressively proven the efficiency of artec® – especially also with the installation service.
To manufacture, deliver and assemble the sports equipment for this major project in the middle of the peak season – in addition to all other orders – really demanded a lot from the artec® team.
