New design simplifies transport and storage of soccer goals
Soccer goals must be transported frequently. The assembly and disassembly of the goals is one of the regular tasks for many groundskeepers and responsible persons. The reasons for dismantling may vary. Whether clubs are using the playing surface crosswise during training, or need the area behind the goals for other sports. As soon as the goal becomes an obstacle and endangers the safety on the playing field, it is essential to dismantle it.
However, this is not an easy task for soccer goals measuring 7.32 x 2.44 m – especially if the goals are not mobile and equipped with transport wheels. To facilitate the transport of stationary large field goals, we have developed the transport cart for competition goals.
Transport cart for competition goals from artec® Sportgeräte
To make the transport of goals quick and easy, artec® has designed a new transport cart for large field goals. With the fully welded transport cart from our own production in Melle, two soccer goals of the size 7.32 x 2.44 m including ground frame and tension rods can be transported safely and easily. The robust construction is made of high quality aluminum profiles, which guarantees high stability.
Optimal positioning and mobility
Due to four smooth-running pneumatic wheels, the cart can be easily moved around the sports field even when loaded. The extra large wheels do not leave ruts or other damage on the grass. For optimal positioning of the cart, each wheel can be locked individually. Thanks to 20 cm ground space, smaller edges or unevenness can be easily driven over with the cart. To allow the cart to be transported with pulling vehicles, there are up to two drawbars on each side with ring mounts for trailer couplings.
Transport of soccer goals – secure and gentle!
For transportation, the goal frame is hooked into the upper suspension. The goal does not stand in ground sockets. This has the advantage that goals with different profiles can be transported. Accordingly, our transport cart is suitable for competition goals of any manufacturer.
For a safe transport the goals are fixed to the cart with high quality lashing straps. To prevent the soccer goals from scratching, we have additionally provided all places where the goal touches the transport cart with plastic pads. This type of suspension is also ideal for the storage of soccer goals. If the goals remain on the cart until their next usage, there is also no need for additional reloading and loading.

Special design according to customer requirements
On request we can add further equipment features to our transport cart.
For our latest customer, for example, we have added insertion options for tension rods. This way also the tension rods are transported and stored safely. In addition, the transport cart can be extended by a centrally mounted storage tray. This is used alternatively for the storage of tension rods. If the nets should not remain at the goal, these can be stored in this tray. Of course, we are able to adjust the size of the storage tray individually according to your wishes.
